An adult education practitioner with a career emphasis in curriculum development and policing (building lesson content for: (a) police/law enforcement academy and in-service classes, (b) classes to train first time instructors or as refresher training for seasoned instructors, (c) professional development classes for leaders). My educational biography includes a Doctorate degree in Adult Education Leadership from Walden University, masters and baccalaureate degree from Temple University. My career path became policing; as a member of the police profession, this became a platform to use and hone leadership and teaching skills while traversing the many challenges characterizing the path of leadership, spiritual and personal growth to achieving promotion through the ranks to lieutenant. Experience includes serving on hiring and promotion panels, critical incident review panels, advisory councils, monitoring implementation of settlement agreements involving police academy operations.
In 2020 I was hired as adjunct faculty for the Public Agency Training Council, traveling to Indianapolis, IN to teach and lead candid discussion among police/law enforcement professionals representing several states on the subject, Recruitment of Minorities. Authoring books, developing courses, starting my own company were some of my dreams that because of God I am able to testify became career accomplishments.
As an active member of The Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Harrisburg, PA, I serve others as God leads.
